2024 Dragon Boat BC 50/50 Jackpot

  1. 1. Tickets

    Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.

    Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.

  2. 2. 50/50

    BC Gaming Event Licence #153853

    2 for $10.00; 350 tickets
    5 for $20.00; 1000 tickets
    10 for $35.00; 1500 tickets
    20 for $60.00; 3000 tickets

    The 50/50 is a draw where the money received in ticket sales is divided evenly between the winner and the charity.

    Maximum 50/50 payout will be $10,000.00.

  3. 3. Important Dates & Draw Information

    Deadline
    Final ticket sales deadline: September 28, 2024 at 3:30:00 p.m. PDT

    Draw
    50/50 draw: September 28, 2024 at 4:00:00 p.m. PDT

    If for some reason, the draw cannot take place on the draw date listed, a substitute draw date and time will be selected. All ticket purchasers will be able to see the amended draw date and time information posted on the same website the ticket was purchased.

    Draw will be held at Oddball Fall Classic Regatta, located outdoors adjacent to Science World in Vancouver. 1455 Quebec St, Vancouver, BC V6A 3Z7

    The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG). 

    All ticket holders are welcome to attend the draw.

    Winners will be posted online at https://dragonboatbc.rafflenexus.com/winners on September 28, 2024.

  4. 4. Winner

    Winner will be contacted by phone by the Dragon Boat BC.

    Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

    If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee.

    No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the Dragon Boat BC or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

  5. 5. Privacy

    Dragon Boat BC does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

  6. 6. Complaints

    Any complaints can be directed to the raffle administrators by emailing: info@dragonboatbc.ca. Administrators will review the complaint and take action if necessary.

  7. 7. Delay in Draw

    Should a delay occur in the draw time on draw day, every effort will be made to make the draw as soon as possible. Should an alternate day need to be announced, after approval by BC Gaming, all ticket purchasers will be notified via email.

  8. 8. Other

    Please email our team at info@dragonboatbc.ca should you require a refund for any ticket purchases or would like to issue a complaint, and we would be happy to assist you.

Cause

Community, culture, and competition, all in one boat. The Canadian International Dragon Boat Festival Society (Dragon Boat BC) is the non-profit organizer of North America’s flagship dragon boat festival – the Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival and runs Dragon Zone Paddling Club – Canada’s largest paddling club. The Society also produces a series of races, cultural programming, and community initiatives centred around the traditional Chinese cultural sport of dragon boat.

Through its all access and youth programs, supported by the Milton K. Wong Legacy Project, the Society makes paddling experiences accessible regardless of any barriers to participation.
